Sonos One is a mains-powered, humidity-resistant smart speaker launched in 2017, based on a quad-core A53 SoC with 1 GB RAM and 4 GB storage, connected over dual-band Wi-Fi and Ethernet. Sonos has published multiple patched advisories affecting all S1/S2 systems, mostly local or close-proximity vectors, with automatic OTA updates and TLS cloud traffic. The main residual risks are the thin on-device authentication and absence of any access audit log, which depend on Sonos account hygiene rather than device-side controls.
