Free text / Notes:

The RT-AX55 is an entry-level dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (AX1800) home router running ASUSWRT, assessed from its official tech-spec sheet, the ASUS PSIRT advisory index and the first-edition user manual dated March 2021, verified 2026-10-25. Dating is treated as an announcement window because no dedicated launch press release was located. Classification covers the stock web-UI and app management plane; AiMesh mode and USB-less hardware are out of scope. No model-specific incident history was enumerated.
