The Hikvision DS-2CD2143G2-I is a popular dome IP camera. While newer firmware addresses many security issues, Hikvision devices have a history of widespread vulnerabilities, hardcoded credentials, and botnet exploitation. This camera requires strong password management and network segmentation. Standard security management is recommended.
