This specific SKU ships with an Intel Core i5-13500HX (13th Gen HX, 14 cores / 20 threads), 16 GB DDR5-5600 MHz dual-channel SODIMM (user-upgradeable to 32 GB), 512 GB PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe TLC M.2 SSD, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU with 6 GB GDDR6.
Display: 16.1-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS, 165 Hz, 3 ms response, 300 nits. Battery: 70 Wh 4-cell Li-ion, charged via a 200 W barrel AC adapter (no USB-C charging). Connectivity: Wi-Fi 6E (Intel AX211), Bluetooth 5.3, 2.5 GbE Ethernet. I/O includes HDMI 2.1, mini DP, USB-C Thunderbolt 4, multiple USB-A 3.2 ports, and an RJ-45 jack.
Security: Firmware TPM 2.0 (discrete TPM not present), HP True Vision 1080p FHD IR webcam with a physical privacy shutter, and Windows Hello facial sign-in. No fingerprint reader on this SKU. Ships with Windows 11 Home; BitLocker Device Encryption is supported via TPM but full management features require Windows 11 Pro. HP publishes BIOS and driver updates through its support site, and the laptop receives standard Windows 11 monthly security patches.
This is a consumer-grade gaming laptop, not an enterprise-hardened device. It has no dedicated physical tamper protection, no self-encrypting drive (SED) by default, and no built-in remote management (vPro/AMD DASH) on this i5 configuration.
